Dr. Grubel graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Ulm, Germany. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeths Medical Center Boston and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology / Hepatology at New England Medical Center, Tufts University, in Boston. He is trained in ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). He has extensive experience in sonography and was awarded a PhD in ultrasonography in Germany.Dr. Grubel has authored numerous publications, abstracts, book chapters and has presented at multiple international meetings on a variety of topics. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
