I earned my medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan in 2004. I completed pediatrics residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of MI in Detroit, Michigan in 2003 and worked in the division of pediatric gastroenterology as attending physician. I was an assistant professor of pediatrics at Wayne State University during that time and was an associate director of the pediatric gastroenterology fellowship program. I joined Mercy One Des Moines Pediatrics Specialty Care Clinic in 2016.I always enjoy educating families and children about the child diagnosis and helping kids and parents feel better.
